A Family Christmas program where the whole family comes together to make a wooden manger.
This is a fun activity as the children enjoy using hammers and drills to make the manger with their families. One of the most sacred days on the Christian calendar is Christmas. However, with each passing year, we seem to focus more and more on the hanging of lights and feasting and the buying of gifts. This is an opportunity to spend some time remembering why this holiday is so important to us. The manger reminds us of of how vital it is to place Christ as the center of our homes and lives.
